We have two couches in our living room. One is about seven years old and it is well loved. We use the back of it to hold the tissue box, confiscated toys, newspaper and other things we don’t want our toddler to have ready access to. As such, our toddler uses this couch for climbing and trying to access those items.

Our other couch is about seven weeks old. Nothing is stored on it as we are still getting used to having it. Our toddler uses this couch as a dancing stage. He climbs up and does a victory tap dance. This tap dance has been recently modified to include hand gestures, as if he is holding invisible maracas. It is hilarious. I cannot wait to see what he adds next.
